Power saving mode
If the camera is in the power saving mode, the camera can be awaken up by motion or the App. The battery power consumption is low.

Smart sleep mode
When the battery power is more than 40%, the camera records continuously without sleeping. And when the battery power is less than 30%, it will automatically enter low-power sleep mode. In sleep mode, the camera works only when a person be detected. You can watch the live video via the App anytime.
Choose this mode for uninterrupted recording, you'd better connect an external power supply, the built-in battery only supports 7 hours of uninterrupted recording. If the power supply is provided through solar panels, it is impossible to ensure that the battery power is stable above 40%.

Super power saving mode
If the camera is in the ultra power saving mode, the camera can only be awaken up by motions in front of the camera. App cannot wake up the camera. This mode consumes the least battery power.

The low-power battery camera was first invented in the USA. It's an IP camera with a built-in battery that can use for a few months. Compare with normal IP cameras, the biggest difference is that low-power IP cameras stay in sleeping mode most of the time. It only turns on working mode while the passive infrared sensor detects motion or the user is viewing the video.

PIR Sensor Installation Angle

When installing the camera, please install the camera angularly (the angle between the sensor and the detected object is larger than 10°) for effective motion detection. If the moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically the sensor may not detect the motion events.
